
In
1920, Kaiser Pickles was founded by Harry T. Kaiser. The company operated
solely as a food distributor with an emphasis on pickles and sauerkraut.
Kaiser Pickles entered it’s second generation when Harry T. Kaiser
Jr. took over in 1967 and soon after became Kaiser Foods Inc. In the fall
of 1990, Kaiser Foods purchased the Farm Pack Pickle Company and became
a fully integrated pickle/pepper manufacturer. In 1995 with the retirement
of Harry T. Kaiser Jr., the family owned company entered it’s third
generation under the direction of David M. Kaiser and his siblings.
In
2002-2003, with the development of programs such as HAACP, Good Manufacturing
Practices and Safety Sanitation Operation Practices, Kaiser Foods received
a rating of 94% by the U.S.D.A. audit system. These accomplishments along
with a sound business and succession plan allowed for Kaiser Foods Inc.
to be named the 2003 University of Cincinnati Goering Center Tri-State
Business of the Year. In the beginning of 2004 Kaiser Foods Inc. restructured
its corporate structure and developed several limited liability companies.
The newly established Kaiser Pickles LLC operates as the pickle and pepper
manufacturing company. Kaiser Pickles, LLC through continued development
over the past 3 years has maintained a superior rating in all of their
annual third party audits.
Entering
its fourth generation Kaiser Pickles strives for continued growth and expansion
through new technologies as well as their dedication to provide their customers
with a quality product at the lowest cost.
